About Us

Why Collaborative Counseling Group?

We are not meant to go through life alone. We need each other, we need collaboration with others for support, encouragement, and motivation. Collaborative Counseling Group exists for that very reason.

Our goal is to empower our clients to achieve their personal and professional goals, and to improve their overall quality of life. We believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. Our counseling services are designed to help our clients unlock their potential and achieve their goals.

Mark R. Dyke, LPC, LEED AP, CM-BIM

Mark Dyke is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan with over 25 years of professional experience spanning both the construction industry and mental health counseling. He holds a master’s degree in Counseling and a degree in Construction Management, bringing a rare and practical perspective to the intersection of workplace culture, leadership, and mental health.

Before becoming a licensed therapist, Mark built a career in construction and higher education, where he currently serves as a university professor in Construction Technology and Management. His dual background allows him to connect deeply with professionals in high stress industries, particularly construction, where mental health challenges often go unspoken.

As the founder of Collaborative Counseling Group, Mark specializes in helping individuals, leaders, and organizations strengthen resilience, improve communication, navigate conflict, and address stress and burnout. He is a trusted speaker and trainer on topics including suicide awareness and prevention, mental health safety in construction, leadership development, and workplace communication.

Mark believes that mental health is not separate from performance or safety. It is foundational to both. His approach is practical, direct, and grounded in real world experience. He works collaboratively with clients to create meaningful, sustainable change that supports both personal wellbeing and professional success.

Whether working one on one with clients or training large organizations, Mark’s mission is simple: to help people build healthier relationships, stronger teams, and safer workplaces.
